ORANGUTAN JUNGLE TREKKING
A fully guided trip to deep Sumatran rainforest (Gunung Leuser National Park, Bukit Lawang) — where you meet the endangered Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii) and many other endemic species in their own habitat.
Our official guide, Ren Tony, is licensed as a Senior Jungle Ranger. He is familiar with all junctions and corners of Bukit Lawang from his 20-year-long jungle-man experience, carrying his responsibility for the safety of our guests at the utmost possible.

There are some critically endangered species present in the jungle, but they are rarely seen. These species include Sumatran Tiger, Sumatran Rhinoceros, Sumatran Elephant, Malayan Sun Bear and Clouded Leopard.

Our itineraries vary from a full day package to a package that lets you stay 4 days and 3 nights in camp or at a lodge. Your trip can be tailored into your needs depending on your personal or group preferences to maximize the quality of your activities.
The tracks into the jungle can vary considering weather and track conditions. We can make the trek longer or shorter depending on your physical fitness, interests and other contributing factors.
